PRIVACY POLICY FOR APPLICATION (ex art. 13 and 14 EU Regulation 679/2016)
Dear applicant,
with this document we would like to inform you that Akamas S.p.A (hereinafter the "Data Controller") processes your personal data featured in your Curriculum Vitae, in order to verify whether your professional figure is in line with our needs and, therefore, to select personnel to be included in our staff. The EU Regulation 679/2016 - General Data Protection Regulation - in art. 13, states that the data subject (the person to whom the personal data refers) must be informed about certain aspects of the processing for which the data are intended. This document constitutes the information on the processing of your personal data carried out by the Data Controller. If you refuse to provide data, your profile will not be evaluated for inclusion in your business context.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING PURPOSES
Your personal data, which you voluntarily provide to the Data Controller on paper or digital support, are processed for the purpose of verifying whether your professional figure matches with staff research of Data Controller.
In case of a positive evaluation of your profile, the data will be processed in order to prepare the necessary documentation for your recruitment.
PROCESSING METHODS
The processing shall take place in electronic form and shall be carried out in such a way as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. The methodologies applied ensure that access is only allowed to authorized personnel or to external subjects specifically appointed Data Processors. Personal data may also be processed on paper. In this case, the Data Controller allows access to data only to authorized parties and the storage of documents will ensure their security.
MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
The provision of data is voluntary and optional.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
The personal data processed are those entered by you in your curriculum vitae. By way of example and not exhaustive, may be processed:
- Population data: e.g. name, address, Tax Code, telephone and email numbers, data contained in LinkedIn profiles, on its website;
- Professional data: e.g. data on educational qualifications, data on previous professions;
Your CV may also contain personal data of a particular nature ex art. 9 Reg. EU 679/2016 (i.e. data revealing racial and ethnic nature, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, religious, philosophical, political or trade union associations, as well as data to reveal health status and sexual life), for example:
- Health data: e.g. records of any invalidity, details of any unfitness of work for assignment to specific tasks;
- Data on membership of trade unions: possible membership of trade unions or employment of trade unions;
- Data about the possible membership of a political party: in order to request permission or expectations to hold public elective positions.
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
The legal basis of the processing is the performance of pre-contractual activities, as well as the fulfilment of legal obligations.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Your personal data are therefore kept for the time necessary to comply with the purposes set out in this document, and in any case for a period not exceeding 5 (five) years, from the date of delivery/transmission of the curriculum.
DATA RECIPIENTS
Your personal data, for the purposes strictly instrumental to the evaluation of your application, may be communicated to other parties outside the headquarters of the Data Controller (independent Data Controllers or Data Processors), specifically:
- Affiliated Companies, for accounting and administrative purposes;
- External consultants;
- Service companies: (including IT) entrusted with specific management related to contractual obligations.
TERRITORIAL SCOPE OF PROCESSING
Should it prove necessary, the Data Controller reserves, in accordance with art. 44 and 45 GDPR, the possibility to communicate your data to third parties with registered office in a country outside the European Union, limited to countries that have an adequacy assessment pursuant to art. 25(6) of Directive 95/46/EC, or on the basis of a specific agreement with the recipient of the data which ensures and guarantees security in the processing and the possibility of exercising the rights of the data subjects.

In particular, you may request access to personal data concerning you, its correction or cancellation or you may request limitation of processing and may object to processing. You will also have the right to data portability and if you wish to make a complaint you can also submit it to the personal data protection Authority.
