About the role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in growing our pipeline, building relationships with prospects, and helping accelerate our revenue growth. You will identify and qualify new opportunities, engage with Akamas users, and execute targeted outreach campaigns to generate interest. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to target the right users.

What you'll do
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads from events, campaigns, etc.
- Identify and prospect into target accounts through outbound outreach.
- Research and map key accounts, identifying decision-makers and their needs.
- Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to build pipeline.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM.
- Act as the first point of contact for potential customers and represent Akamas’s mission and approach.
- Continuously improve outreach sequences and messaging to drive engagement.
- Stay current on Akamas’s product roadmap and competitive landscape.
- Participate in feedback loops with Marketing and Product to share customer insights.
What we're looking for
- At least 1–2 years of experience as an SDR in B2B SaaS sales development, ideally targeting developers, SREs, DevOps, or Platform teams, with strong empathy toward the users and prospects you engage with.
- Confidence in cold outreach, handling objections, and booking qualified meetings.
- Understanding of sales processes, lead generation strategies, and sales funnel management.
- Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making and optimize SDR performance.
- Experience with (and a genuine passion for) automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and familiarity with platforms such as Hubspot and Clay.
- Curiosity, motivation, and drive to understand people’s problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to users and buyers.
- English native speaker or equivalent proficiency.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in developing AI-driven sales tools or autonomous meeting agents.
- Familiarity with multi-agent systems and their application in business processes.
- Experience with CRM systems and their integration with AI tools.
